HACCP - FOOD SAFETY - FOOD SAFETY & HYGIENE TRAINING

Since 1998 it has been a legal requirement for all food businesses to have a food safety management system based on the principle of HACCP. Under current legislation, a “food business” is defined as “any undertaking, whether for profit or not and whether public or private, carrying out any or all of the following: preparation, processing, manufacturing, packaging, storing, transportation, distribution, handling or offering for sale or supply of foodstuffs”.

In today's climate of stringent hygiene control and changing legislation this is an area of paramount importance to Hooper Catering and receives constant monitoring.

That's why we are registered with Excellence Ireland, who advise and keep us updated of any new legislation in any particular area of our practice. We can advice on a regular basis so that the strictest standards are maintained and implement new hygiene laws immediately
